HEY,
I’M BRIGITA
I'm from Lithuania, though I've spent most of my adult life somewhere else, chasing the feeling that there was always more to see. The city I grew up in shaped how I look at things first, culture, architecture, fashion, an eye for how things are put together. Nature came in alongside it and slowly took over.
That pull is what sent me out into the world. Australia is where I picked up a camera and started shooting for real. New Zealand is where it turned into work. And then Canada, because it had both the city and the wild, and I couldn't stop thinking about a place that held the two together.
I think I've always been a bit of a chameleon. As a kid I was good at maths and good at art, I danced, I loved fashion and design, and then I fell just as hard for sport and being out in nature. Wherever my attention went, that's what I became. Moving here is where those two sides finally stopped competing, and I realised I don't have to choose, because both are me. Now I get to bring both into what I do, and that's the part I love most.
WHAT I DO
I'm a commercial photographer and creative director. So I'm not just there on the day pressing a shutter, I think about the concept, the location, the direction, the whole feel of it, and I care about that as much as the final frame.
On location or in studio, what I'm really after is connection, between people, and between people and the places they're in.
Reels and on-location content usually come out of the same shoot too, so brands can walk away with everything they need from one day.
I work best with people and brands who want something that feels real rather than perfect, and who care about where their story lives, not just how it looks. Whether it's a fashion label, an outdoor brand, or a wellness one, the thing I bring stays the same: real places, real people, real light.
If that sounds like you, come say hi. I'd love to hear what you're working on.
